It adopts a different approach to the typical path towards maturity that begins within a family and ends when one distances themselves from it and cuts the \u201cumbilical cord\u201d as a sign of achieving personal maturity. However, R\u00e9mi\u2019s path begins with separation and ends with a family reunion, with a series of concurrent trials that ultimately lead to the missing familial paradise\u2026 trials based on loss, not unlike the first moment of separation, as though the author wishes to say that self-evolvement and emotional and psychological maturity cannot be attained without loss.<\/p>\n
