Ali AlShaali

An activist of culture and a dedicated publisher.

Ali holds a BSc. in Civil Engineering from the UAE University, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He has been the Senior Director of Publishing & Translation at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Foundation (2008-2014)
He’s an active member of the Emirates Writers‘ Union. He published “A Bee and a Rababa”, “Faces and Weary Others” and “The Earth has one Soul”; three anthologies of poetry.
He is the Vice Chairman of Emirates Publishers Association, a Board member of The Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai, and also a board member of the “1971”, a cultural initiative of the Crown Prince of Dubai.
